BRICS Business Magazine at SPIEF 2026

04.06.2026

During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026, BRICS Business Magazine is available on-site, offering participants and guests an opportunity to explore the BRICS agenda beyond official sessions and business agreements—through in-depth analysis, exclusive interviews, cultural features and reporting on rapidly evolving markets.

SPIEF 2026 is taking place in St. Petersburg from June 3–6. This year, the forum once again reinforces its position as one of the world’s leading platforms for international economic dialogue, with representatives from more than 130 countries and territories expected to attend. Participants include senior government officials, international organisations, business leaders, members of the expert and academic communities, as well as media representatives.

For BRICS Business Magazine, a presence at SPIEF carries particular significance. The forum has become a venue where new frameworks for international cooperation are being shaped and debated, alongside discussions on the role of high-growth economies, technological sovereignty, investment, transport, energy, food security and humanitarian ties. These are precisely the issues at the heart of the magazine’s editorial agenda, which consistently covers the BRICS+ countries as a space for business, cultural and intellectual exchange.

In its latest issue, the magazine explores:

– how China is turning AI regulation into a source of competitive advantage and a tool of digital sovereignty;

– how Russian banks are pivoting towards markets across the Global South and the East;

– why boxing is emerging as an instrument of influence, what BRICS has to do with it, and why Umar Kremlev is placing a strategic bet on China;

– who is building the financial bridges and payment infrastructure underpinning BRICS cooperation;

– why success in the Arab world requires an understanding not only of economics but also of cultural codes;

– how Riyadh is designing the city—and the economy—of the future;

– and how African artists, photographers and designers are transforming local identity into a global cultural phenomenon.
