On October 8–9, Innopolis will host Digital Innopolis Days – an international forum on artificial intelligence, robotics, and new technologies in education and science. BRICS Business Magazine will be among the event’s participants.

The Innopolis University Forum will bring together around 3,700 IT specialists, scientists, and representatives of universities, technology companies, and relevant government agencies. At the heart of this year’s program is no longer so much the capabilities of artificial intelligence itself, but rather its practical implementation: from AI agents in companies and industrial robotics to the transformation of education and scientific research. In-person registration has already closed, but until October 8, registration for online participation remains open on the Digital Innopolis Days website.

A separate place in the program is dedicated to international technological and scientific cooperation. One of the sections focuses on the interaction between BRICS and EAEU countries and joint projects involving Russian and foreign scientists; among the announced participants are representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and India’s Skwerup Capital Partners.

«Artificial intelligence has moved past the stage where it was enough for businesses to simply keep an eye on the new technology. Now the main question is where it is already delivering measurable results and how to scale such solutions. Digital Innopolis Days is interesting precisely because of its concentration of practical experience – from industrial robotics to science and education. The international context of the forum is also especially important for us: technological cooperation among BRICS countries is increasingly moving from discussions to joint projects,» says Natalia Shastik, Editor-in-Chief of BRICS Business Magazine.

The first day, October 8, will be primarily dedicated to AI, robotics, and the labor market. One of the forum’s central questions is why technological pilots often fail to evolve into full-fledged businesses. During the session «How Robotics and Personnel Become a Strategy,» representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, KAMAZ, AvtoVAZ, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and Innopolis University will examine the barriers that, according to the organizers’ estimates, prevent about 80% of pilot projects from reaching large-scale implementation.

On October 9, the program will shift its focus to the systematic integration of AI into education and science. The main event will be the plenary session «AI as a New Knowledge Infrastructure: Education and Science of the Future.» The discussion will center on the transition from isolated experiments to a unified model for applying artificial intelligence, government strategy, technology regulation, and mechanisms for scaling up successful solutions.

The forum will also summarize the results of the award by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Innopolis University in the field of industrial robotics, and announce the winners of the student hackathon for developing AI solutions for Russian Post with a prize pool of 3 million rubles. Participants will also be able to visit the Center for Industrial Robotics Development at Innopolis University.

Digital Innopolis Days has been held since 2021. Over five years, the forum has brought together more than 15,000 in-person participants from over 500 cities across Russia and 30 countries, as well as more than 1,300 experts. In 2026, its program focuses on technologies that are already moving from the experimental stage to practical application — in industry, business, education, and science.
