The full business programme has been published on the official website of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will take place on 3–6 June.

This year, the Forum’s programme is structured around the development of a new model of global development against the backdrop of the transformation of the global economy. The structure of SPIEF 2026 reflects the transition to a multipolar system of international relations and the need to seek balanced solutions amid growing turbulence. The main theme is Pragmatic Dialogue: The Path to a Stable Future.

“The SPIEF 2026 business programme reflects the key changes taking place in the global economy and international relations. Today, pragmatic dialogue aimed at finding solutions that can ensure sustainable development amid global transformation is of particular importance. The Forum traditionally serves as a platform where new approaches to cooperation are constructed and initiatives are launched that will shape the economic agenda for years to come.

“The programme brings together over 150 sessions grouped by thematic areas: from the global and Russian economies to technological leadership, the social agenda and the development of the environment for living. Particular attention is paid to formats for practical dialogue: business breakfasts and international business dialogues with key countries and regions,” said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

As part of the section entitled The Global Economy: Between Confrontation and Cooperation, participants will discuss the transformation of global markets, investment strategies, and new formats for international partnership. Key topics include the architecture of the future financial system, trade development, technological cooperation, and the role of business in international development.

The Russian Economy: Structural Changes for Returning to a Growth Trajectory will focus on the search for a new model of economic development. The spotlight is on industrial policy, investment, long-term financial instruments, and the role of entrepreneurship as a driver of sustainable growth.

The Putting People First: A New Development Paradigm track focuses on demographics, the labour market, and education.

An Environment to Live In: New Technologies – A New Quality is dedicated to sustainable regional development, the heritage economy, and the creation of a comfortable environment.

Technologies Shaping the Future brings together topics such as artificial intelligence, robotization, digital sovereignty, and the transformation of interactions between people, the state, and business.
