Moscow will host the BRICS International School in October 2025. 100 young leaders from around the world will receive a unique chance to become part of the global community of BRICSologists!
In the wake of the BRICS expansion, Russia restarted one of the most promising international youth projects—BRICS International School: New Generation. Its mission is to promote a better understanding of BRICS and build a global community of young leaders, who share responsibility for a future world order in the interests of the World Majority.
The BRICS International School: New generation is a flagship educational project of the BRICS Expert Council-Russia, which is based on world’s most successful customized short-term training programs on BRICS studies. The program has been held annually with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The history of the project dates back to 2017, when Russia launched its first short-term educational program on cooperation between BRICS countries for students and young scientists. Today, the BRICS International School: New generation is a trend setter in BRICS studies and the most successful and mainstream educational program in the world, aimed at developing a talent pool of young professionals from BRICS countries and BRICS partner countries, fostering a new generation of leaders able to face current global challenges.
In 2025, the BRICS International School: New Generation is held in partnership with the Gorchakov Fund, MGIMO University, BRICS Business Magazine, etc.
The custom curricular of the BRICS International School: New Generation is designed (of) with lectures, master classes, business games, debates and networking that give the necessary knowledge to solve today’s and future challenges. Top experts and practitioners from think-tanks, government and business give insight (to) into BRICS cooperation and better understanding of the current trends and the global agenda. The innovative ecosystem allows participants to develop professional skills and unlock their career potential. This unique experience also allows fostering a dialogue of trust among representatives of diverse countries, cultures, and religions and unite young leaders in implementing forward-thinking initiatives to promote BRICS cooperation.
Young scientists and innovators, diplomats and representatives of ministries, political scientists, representatives of think-tanks and NGOs, entrepreneurs, international journalists, youth leaders aged 18 to 35 are invited to participate in the project.
Organizers provide accommodation, meals and transfer within the program. Participants cover international flight, as well as visa fee and health insurance on their own.
The deadline for applications is September 15. Participants are selected on a competitive basis.
