It marked the first time in the magazine&#8217;s history that Chinese became the second language of an issue. The special edition, dedicated to Russian-Chinese business and cultural cooperation, proved to be extremely popular with the audience, and this interest became one of the factors that influenced the editorial team&#8217;s decision to make the Chinese version permanent and extend it to all of the website&#8217;s content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch of the Chinese version reflects the growth of economic and business ties between Russia and China. From January to August 2026, the volume of Russian-Chinese trade <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interfax.ru\/business\/1114283\">exceeded<\/a> $185 billion, an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the presence of Chinese businesses in Russia is expanding noticeably. More than 15,500 active companies with Chinese founders or co-founders are registered in the country, compared to approximately 1,400 at the end of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#171;Economic ties between Russia and China are growing significantly faster than the information infrastructure surrounding them. Trade turnover is increasing, and there are more joint companies and projects; however, high-quality business information about Russia, the BRICS countries, and other economies of the Global South in Chinese remains insufficient. BRICS Business Magazine has decided to fill this gap and make the magazine&#8217;s materials directly accessible to the Chinese audience,&#187; says <strong>Natalia Shastik, Editor-in-Chief of BRICS Business Magazine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chinese edition covers all the content of BRICS Business Magazine for 2026 \u2013 materials on the economy, investments, technology, finance, international trade, business, and cultural industries of the BRICS countries and the Global South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From now on, all subsequent materials of the journal will be regularly published in three languages at once: Russian, Chinese, and English.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A full-fledged Chinese version has been added to the Russian and English versions of the magazine&#8217;s website: all materials published in 2026 have already been translated into the new language, and all subsequent articles will also be regularly published in Chinese.
