Yet, sooner or later, the grouping will need to develop systemic, comprehensive approaches and a unified, coordinated policy. This might prove challenging, given the BRICS member countries’ differences in legal systems and cultural traditions, says Alikber Alikberov, Director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Institute of Oriental Studies.
